Just a few thoughts...
For those that feel their car is not yet ready for a tune...here is what I have seen in the past...
Most people that tune are at Stage2 (Downpipe/Cat-back/intake or drop-in filter). Many will have Cobb Accessports.
Whether you have a 2.0l or 2.5l engine...this is where you will see a "huge" difference from the conservative "stock" tune that our cars come with.
Some Comparisons:
Stock Tune: Fine (since you don't know any difference)
Cobb AP OTS Map: Stg1 and Stg2...better than stock.
PDX OTS Map: Jarrad knows our cars here in Hawaii very well...his OTS maps are considerably better than the Cobb OTS maps.
PDX Tune/Dyno: Jarrad fine tunes your car based on your exact mods...by far, a "Huge" difference from any of the the previous maps above save the PDX OTS maps...but still considerably "personalized".
Most of us OG's that have been around a while have been tuned multiple times by Jarrad...we've gone the Stg2 to Stg4+ route...most people will keep their cars at Stg2 though...Stg4 requires a "no going back" sort of commitment that costs big $$$.
This is why I say that if you are at Stg2 and want a change...get tuned.
BTW...The next tune may not happen in 6 months like it has in the past...most of us that tune have our cars where we want them already so it might be a while before the next PDX tune takes place...
We have space now...if you have questions either PM me or give me a call...
Thanks,
Brent

Car Info: STi (cornering, accelerating and braking hard).
Don't know if I'll have anything different to tune. The car is running great right now.
I have to wait a lil bit until I go w/the bigger turbine.

Peace of mind is a byproduct of a protune. I thought my car on a OTS Cobb map was running good, but Jarrad found some lean spots on the maps. He fixed those then proceeded to give me a lot more smooth power. I even saw an improvement in mpg over the Cobb maps. Can't beat that.
