I've got a nice laptop that the monitor quit working. Believe me, the thought has crossed my mind to hook up an LCD, but I wouldn't have the faintest clue. I don't see spending more money for it, though. I am doing just fine with the laptop in my pass. seat.

The Mattjk screen is less than $300. Having a built-in pc will also let you play mp3's, watch dvds, play games, and surf the web.

Surf the web is indeed easy task now days. I took my laptop with 802.11b wireless capability around my neighborhood and discovered about 30+ OPEN points within a mile radius. Talk about almost wireless wherever you go!

I'm thinking about a setup with flat-micro-atx system(flatter shuttle-like cases), using Mattjk's screens that he makes, and switching it with a HKS Camp system. a whole lotta money but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

Yeah we used to do that in Boise all the time. There were so many people/businesses that we got connection with. Its sad really.
