Passed the msf safety course today !!!!!

Woo Hoo!!! Just passed the MSF beginner safety course @ LCC !!
Got the waiver to bring to the DMV !!
Also supplied with an insurance discount card !!
Gonna be legit motorcycle rider now!!!
Just wondering if the 2 Ryans passed when they went.
It was pretty rough, especially the slow u-turn maneuvers.
The bookwork part wasn't too bad.
I think the month and a half of riding I did on the permit helped a lot !!!
Would recommend this to anyone who rides or is thinking of it!!!
Even experienced riders will benefit!!

Sweet! Yeah, the MSF course was really good.

What kind of bike you got? I'm still kinda/sorta on the fence on whether I want to buy a bike or not.

Got a 2010 Triumph Bonneville.
Was looking at Harley sportsters, but think I chose a much better bike.
Wanted to get a sport bike, but the better half knows me way to well to allow it !! LOL!!
Probably be a statistic already, the way I've been flogging this bike !!!
At least its almost as fast as my Impreza!!! Not some 250-500 cc crap!!!
Also a lot of aftermarket parts available, should be able to run down the 600cc sportbikes when I'm done modding!!!
Going for a cafe racer look.
Something like this. \/ \/ \/

Hay Fran conrgats man...
yup I passed my MSF course on the second of this month... Yah was funny cause I never make any mistakes on the box untill the final test and they made me the demo guy to be first in line.
The other Ryan only went the first day cause he had his daughters first birth day the next day so he never came back. I sure hope he takes it again so some day we all can ride together hehe.
My teachers was Gary and seiit I forgot the other old mans name but very cool guy.

So I guess there are 3 Ryans that took it? hahah.

I passed it when I took it back in 2008 (I think?) Gary was not happy at me for playing around on the bike a bit much....Ooops. But I did learn a bit even being an experienced rider. Did you just finish it Fran? My friend finished a couple of weeks ago. Wonder if you were in the same class.

It is definitely worth taking, especially if you've never ridden before they are very through and teach you just about everything you need to know before you get on the road.

edit: Guess I should have read the title better, you only finished today. hah. Grats!

I don't have a bike Cory! Well, not one of my own at least. Everyone in my family rides harleys so when I ride I jump on one of those. It's fun, but it isnt me. My goal is once the STi is payed off to pickup a bike. I want to be able to daily something other then the STi although I probably wont be able to go long not driving my car.

See you guys Sunday.

I got my first motorcycle when I was 15. I have owned around 10 motorcycles over the years. Just sold my latest (R6) last week, never even had a permit. lol

Looking to buy another SV650 I think, it is just a comfortable fun bike.
