dont do the CAI as it will not benifit your car. the turbo timer, although may make people go "ooh, his car is cool cause its still on when he gets out!" isnt needed for our turbos.

the purpose of turbo timers is to slowly drain out the cooling oil in the turbo. however, out turbos, after the cr is shut off, is cooled with the engine coolant stuff, not oil, so we dont need a turbo timer

JUST springs is what you dont want to do because the stock shocks are not set up for different springs. lowering springs will make the ridde quality crappier. coilovers will give you the best of both worlds (better ride and a lower ride). Correct me if I'm wrong though

Actually the purpose I was told for a TT is to keep the turbo from starving for oil. When the car is shut down oil flow stops turbo can keep spinning but will be without oil. So the TT was/is to keep oil flowing long enough for it to spool down..Not sure waht you budget is for suspension but there is another member on here with Zeal coilovers I personally wouldn't put them on my car because they are so GODDAMN good looking you just wann make sweet love to them. I think somebody is or was selling some coilovers in the classifieds. Tein seem to be popular. But honestly if you don't auto-x or have the need to be adjusting you suspension spend the money elsewhere. I had a set of Prodrive springs and was very happy...Stay away from Tein springs not the best quality in my opinion I had a set of S-Techs before.

the TT does keep oil flowing, but it was for cars that have a turbo thats oil cooled even after the car is turned off. Without it the hot oil would stay in the turbo and it would get all nasty. With our cars the the oil flows out and it is cooled with engine coolant. therefore a TT is a waste of money
