Vishnu Ecutek Stage 2 - $800
For MY02/5MT...Mapped for VF30/34 with IC hoses...This includes the ecu so you can keep your stock as spare. It's also the latest version which has valet mode/map switching and is Delta Dash compatible.
Shiv has recently made an update to the baseline map upping the output to a repeatable 260 whp. You pay for shipping and Shiv will update the Ecutek for free.

I know. I'm just trying to exhaust every option.
It's turning into a formal decision making process.
Prioritized by: durability, cost/available funds, gearing, part availability. And then once I get the ball rolling: if I get a complete tranny (STI), is it worth it to get one where I have to replace the entire drivetrain? If I get a gearset, who to install it? Ed or one of the tranny shops that some folks have listed on here.
As far as money is concerned, I don't have any. I've only got credit, and that is based on whether they bump up my credit limit. I had a good plan when I decided to mod the car. I have a very low credit card APR (Pentagon FCU, penfed.org) and I had a limit on how much I was willing to spend. I reached that limit and stopped, but unfortunately I haven't made to much of a dent on that balance, so now I'm going to have to get more of a limit on that same credit card.
The timing stinks, too, with little Mac on the way.
I've said it all along, 'I'm not a smart man.'
Sorry for the hijack, Richie.
