I was contemplating selling my STi recently and buying something more 'practical' and was very close to doing it. But then I thought I love driving this car, and you only live once, might as well enjoy it.

Car Info: Storme..
i mean unless subaru does something extremely un-subaru-like to their cars...
it's hard to get away from the boxer engine sound comfort of a subaru..
won't matter if i'm making a 6 figure income in the future or not.. I'd still rather have a subaru

Moved on, but do miss the STi. My new car is a better (more comfortable) daily drive, but it will never replace the feeling of some spirited STi driving. Next weekend will be my first AutoX with the new car so I suspect I'll miss it even more then.
If I do buy another Subie it'll be many years down the road as I made a promise to stick with my Lexus for 5-7 years.

v rod has an STi and a 05 EVO VIII, he has told me a few times that having both really shows the flaws of the STi.
...and after test driving a lot of cars...We both want EVO IX's if the means anything. It's that much better than the VIII. The engine and interior and way better in the IX.
Now having said all this...the next car I buy will be a C6 vette.

I not only own 2 Impreza's, my statement towards my loyalty is that I've sunk over $25k into one of them over the years, it's been down for long periods twice (currently down for 3 months.) The other is a bone-stock '01 RS which feeds my craving.
I'm with Subaru until I find another car that meets all of my needs. [breaks out decision matrix....]

Car Info: '04 STi
My 04 STi is the first Subaru I've ever owned and I am extremely happy with the car. Out of all the cars that I have owned, the STi is the only one that I get excited about when I drive it. If I do ever get rid of the STi, it would probably be for a newer one. I am currently trying to convince my wife to replace our '94 Trooper with the Tribeca.
