what i would do.......

1. Find someone thats willing to lend you their 2.0L AP2 and buy em lunch or something (they will have to unmarry it from their car)

2.Marry the AP2 to your car and have jarrad perform the tune and save the maps to the AP2

3. Unmarry the AP2 and return to the original owner (save your maps first)

4. Saving your maps.....

A-Upload the maps from the AP2 to your computer via usb and Cobb Software

B- If Jarrad locks the maps to work with a specific AP2, shoot him an email of your AP2's Serial number once you get ur own, and he will send you a compatible map for your AP2

 

I was going to suggest the exact same thing, or just see what you can do about finding one locally.... A lot of people are going opensource and have them lying around.

in any case, if it's a AP-SUB-001 is 'should' work for any Subaru WRX 2002-05 2.0L

 

thanks jimi (and everyone else who posted). its a great suggestion though i fear i dont know anyone with a 2.0 cobb. r&d has one but its for a 2.5

if someone has one and is willing to let me borrow it i will gladly take you out to lunch,give u cash or whatever you like. u would be my hero =)

J/K Hope everything works out for ya, I had a V1 AP for the 2.0L WRX, but I sold it already ......sorry.

 

If you can get a hold of a v2 dongle Ill let you borrow mine.
