That great to hear.....I was worryed about them not respectig lowered cars. I thought they would treat the loading and unloading process like a hurd of cattle. Good to know they look out for ya....

nice to know that you did not scrape your car...but i agree, the coach is good enough as there are a lot of places where you can stretch out. have fun guys and be safe! post those time slips when you get them...

The Oahu guys had it all yesterday. They got private track time at the drag strip in the morning and then that afternoon had the ultimate training drive up Mt. Haleakala.

I was the guide and let's just say I had the advantage knowing local "track" conditions. The mountain is my backyard. I led the group up and down.

Some of the speed freaks realized it was just as fun diving into corners both on the uphill, but especially on the nighttime drive down.

Watch out for those decreasing radius switchbacks...

yeah ascending and descending was the shiznit in the STI. unfortunately my driving ability is going beyond my suspension setup and I will be needing something new the next time I make that run.

This trip although disappointing at the track has opened my eyes on the weaknesses of my car performance and suspension wise. So best believe these issues will be fixed.

BIG MAHALOS TO ED! LMK when you are coming to Oahu and I will take you to my backyard

Hahaha well i guess you all wanna know. Well the night b4 we left to maui my car started misfiring big time. we also found out that my injector O-rings expanded causing a vaccuum leak. fixed that.(i had an extra set of O-ring's) car was still not running strong.

now i got it to the tracks and right b4 we line up to race i got a flashing CEL. I loaded 2 different maps and rest the ECU. still didn't fix the problem so i said **** it!! go fo broke! ran it anyways.

I also knew my clutch was bad. (surprised it didn't completely go out. I burned it to hell tho)

I ran better times with 1psi then i didn't now. it was time. my fastest time was 15.1. as i crossed the finish my car shut down! And i knew what it was. i was not pissed off cause i knew i was on borrowed time.

I barely got it back on the super ferry. they guys there were supper cool they let me drive the car up with a straight shot so it wouldn't die at idle. (i lost another cylinder at this time) now when i got it off the ferry the car barely drove but i drove it anyways as far as i could with the smell of gas burning in my exhuast and smoke everywhere. the car finally completely died a little after carls jr/76 on nimitz. we pushed it from the to my service department on mapunapuna and parked it there. i will be towing it back home today. and start to tear it down. I'll post pics of the tear down later.

Its Time for something new!! HEHEHEHEHEH
