Camping/BBQ would be fun :RockOn - not mine:
The only legal beach camping I now of is kahana Bay, Waimanalo, Nimitz & Malaekahana (Kahuku section). I have been to all of them except Malaekahana, which I have heard is the nicest on island.

i would prefer to go somewhere that requires money and a reservation if possible. chances are it will be a nicer more well kept area. also, there will be less of a chance of rowdy party chrashing drunks running amuk everywhere (well besides us anyway:RockOn - not mine: ) and there will be garunteed space on a certain date/time.
