oil leak by the turbo side....

oil leak by the turbo side....

can anybody help me to fix instead going on the dealer....

if its the 09 wrx wouldnt you want the dealer to fix it since its still under warranty?

i dont think that it will show on picture.....my friend in lex brodies is the one who take a look out on the leak and he told me its on the turbo side,he dont want to fix it b'coz that's not his expertise

That doesn't say anything by referring to the leak being on the "turbo side". You need more information and pictures if you want help.

Expertise has nothing to do with your situation of he didn't specify and articulate what he feels the problem is.

Maybe the clamp on the oil return line is loose? I had to fix that one once.

could be a turbo feed or return line, could be a cam seal, could that lame half moon gasket, could be cam cover gasket, could be one of a hundred things. We need a littleeee more info.

that's definitely a possibility but grease and oil look different in consistency and color. when my passenger side boot rips it sprayed all over my front cross member but there was some residue on the up pipe and other areas in that area... definitely worth looking into but pictures speak a thousand words...

Second on the difference. I had a cv boot leak on my WRX on the driver's side and it totally does not resemble oil.
