Talking Officially Broke

Well about a month ago I set up a budget of $4500 to buy parts for my Suby and as of a few days ago that money is all gone. I actually went over by about $105. With the help of Jon (Infek) and a few others the list is as follows:

VF 34 w/ injectors and fuel pump
TurboXs FMIC
Cobb Access Port
Kartboy shifter w/bushings
Kartboy Endlinks
Kyb AGX struts/shocks
Cusco front and rear sway bar
Cusco front and rear strut bars w/ V-brace

I really wanted some rims but I figured suspension upgrade should come first and who knows I might just be able to get rims when I do my taxes this coming year.

you should not have a frowny face on your thread. if you are sad that you don't have money you shouldn't have bought mods.

you should be like " woo hooo, yay!!!!!!!" i got mods and you don't....kinda thing. be happy with the decision you made.

Are you running that intercooler with the cobb vf34 maps? If so, how is that going? My understanding is that the vf34 maps that Cobb has now are for use with the stock i/c. I was contemplating about putting on my larger topmount, but I wanted to wait for their stage 3 setup and mapping to come out.

hiwrx-i haven put all this stuff in yet do to the fact i am currently in iraq....but from all the info i have gathered from cobb an upgraded tmic or even fmic is all with in the learning curve of the access port but with that being said cobb has also said that their stage 3 will be better with aftermarket ic.......infek is currently running a vf30 with fmic on a cobb ap stage 2.5 i believe you might want to ask him for more details..hope this helps

Thanks for the response. Sorry, I should have paid attention to your location earlier. Take care over there, btw. Big props to you guys. Thanks again for the help.

You said

you'd have to save money to "finish" the car. You'll never be finished. Trust me. I've spent goofy money and will be spending more soon. It never stops.
