Just wandering if anyone is gonna run these or heard anything good about the new Philips 5000k HIDS... Check out this link and the pricing...

^^+1, anything phillips is the shizzle, haha
just some additional info....
from what ive read, phillips made the 5000k bulbs originally to replace HID bulbs in singles in hopes of matching a colorshifted oem bulb. as you may know, the more hours on an HID bulb, the color will shift. i think it gets bluer or something.
also, using a modified D2s bulb to fit in place of a D2r Reflector housing will result in a crappy cut off. a crappy cut off may also cause blinding. D2r bulbs have painted areas on the bulb to block some light that may cause blinding. yes d2s bulbs will be slightly brighter in a reflector housing, but again, it will result in a crappy cut off line.
