And private, people are just tryin' to help you. If you want to go cheap on your car that is your prerogative, you can be the guinea pig. If it works out great than you will be responsible for saving a lot of i-clubbers some money. If it sucks, than dont be mad when people told you "I told you so."

But greg, I can't honestly trust a company that makes muffler tips... that's not a performance item

i say do it, i'm curious to see how it turns out. i mean you get a really high performance car, might as well splurge and be the only one on island, maybe all of US to have this exhaust.

Not really, just from the picture I can tell the flanges are thin and the welds look weak. In all likelyhood the metal itself is probably thin too.

Thin = weight reduction yo!!!

Look how many flex section there are in that thing... that just showed total lack of effort in R&D and laziness. But hey... it's your car... you have the final say. You asked us for our opinion, it ain't going to be all positive feedbacks. Good luck.

Go ahead, get the OBX, it seems you're set on it anyway. Just know that you may regret it later. What I notice from seeing ricer exhausts is that they tarnish very easily and turn brownish. Also, because the metal is thinner you won't get that solid sound, it may sound very tinny. For example my Nur spec's metal pipe and muffler is constructed of pretty thick metal so it sounds very solid. IMO worth the money. Different strokes for different folks.

werd. plus it might be real raspy or have that nasty exhaust resonation. all in all it's your call man. just do it and see. most people who ask for opinions do so because they don't know. if you don't wanna listen and take the advise, don't be sorry about the results. L8R

Private51... BUY it. i'd really like for me and the rest of us to be proven wrong- because if we are... then thats a good deal on an exhaust... if we are right you're out 400 bucks....

Yeah if I'm proven wrong then I apologize in advance. It's just that if it was nearly as good as other brands OBX would be losing big time money. It costs more, economically, to produce a better quality product that's why jdm products are so expensive. I'm not saying all jdm parts are of good quality but a much better percentage of them are compared to American or Taiwanese, or Chinese or whatever. Plus a lot of Japanese companies adhere to the ISO standards.
