Yeah, didn't mean to be rude but just wait for your answer or find it in a different thread w/ the search. I only make new threads if I really can't find it. It's just kind of annoying when things like this pop up and they're not really necessary.

Yes...when you do simple mods like filter, cat-back, etc...it's good to (reset the ecu)...disconnect the negative of your battery, step on the brake at least 3 times to discharge anything in the system, reconnect the negative terminal.

You might experience rough idling, stumbling for a few miles then the ECU should start learning again.

For bigger mods such as a Stg4 upgrade (Fuel Pump, Injectors, Turbo, FMIC, Intake + Stg2/3 upgrades) it's a must to get a tune...

Even with a Stg2 upgrade (Turbo-back exhaust, Filter/Intake)...you will see a big difference with a tune...

To get the most out of it I would re-scale your maf and possibly tune a Stg1 tune.

Hey guys...I'm all about harassing the n0oBs when they ask stupid questions, but can you at least remember that you were all n0oBs once. I think he got it after the first post...and after all that only one person gave him an answer. If you're going to bash on him, do it and then help at least

Joey, I think people rather tell them to Search then actually help him out. I don't know why they do it. no matter noob or not if someone has a question and i can answer it, i will answer it.

+1

people waste their time talking sh*t to noobs and don't end up helping or even giving a general direction at the very least.

hence the perpetual problem that scares noobs to post.
