Thumbs up No Recon Req.....

Went to get recon, for all the citations that I received and they inspected the vehicle, had trouble at 1st with the stock bbs, they even went online to verify, then they said my suspension was 2stiff, I told them I had pro-drive springs, He then went inside and came out and said...thats oem suspension, I said ok, not a problem, made me take off the iclub sticker, my tints were good to go at 28%...Well after everything He gave me the recon form stamped, as No Recon Req. for the exhaust, springs and tints.... Im good 2 go... so I made a written statement at the pearl city/ewa court house and fowarded all my citations with the proper paperwork, and hopefully all charges will be droped.... Thanks to that rookie cop, take that brodahhhh....Im all legal and good to go...

Thanks... Thunder_sti

That's what I'm talking about!!! Hey Jose, PM me with that guys name..... You said it was a solo bike officer right? I knew you had nothing to worry about. This whole thing was bs if you ask me.

Good to know you passed. That run-in with the cop .. no matter how anyone puts it, the cop was being a *****.. Sucks that it had to happen. :-/

I've read the other recon info thread and although a lot of things are clarified, recon is very sketchy to begin with and it's hard to pass sometimes. You may not pass for the weirdest things.

Jose, what inclined them to believe your suspension was too stiff? They couldn't push the car down enough?

I'm planning on trying someday.. but man it's a hassle.

i just got pulled over 2 nights ago in hawaii kai.....
officer said my suspension was too stiff(stock )my wing was an obstruction(in which i was about to say.. "no it isn't i seen you behind me the whole time), my rims were too big (supposed to be 16's) -- needless to say he just got a call about an MVA like 1 mile back.. let me go and said "okay.. but i'll check up on your car" "thank you sir" was my reply

yeah, they tried pushing down but wouldnt move at all then he says / checks for the suspension underneath and he said I had aftermarket springs...so I told him they were prodrive... He was kool since I was on him about the rims, he was trying to say they were aftermarket bbs, I told him check online, which he did, and confirmed, I also told him my situation with the cop, and the reason for me being there was just for the No recon req. paper work for my exhaust, he also said that cop is a *****, anyways, it was all cool, dont try and go and tell them there job, just be tactful and you can get a better approach/ hearts and mind... thanks

If you had the time to spare you could have just gone to court w/ the papers and make that cop look like a fool in front of the judge. .
