i think i like both! lol i like the black one way more but i think the stock one has potential cuz comparing it to the black you can see theres probably multiple ways to take it in a build haha.

Its kind of intriguing. I have seen a couple on the road here and they don't look as bad in real life angles.

That modded one you posted is nice. If I got one I would definitely try to do some kind of tinting to that light array at the top corners to make them less conspicuous.
