Arrow Next trip To Okinawa!

ok, well, I didn't get as much free time as I originally thought over there due to some unforseen circumstances, .... but I know I have to go back a lot sooner than I thought too, .... SO

Next time I'm gonna take some 'orders' from people who want miscellaneous small stuff.
For instance, gauges, zero sports radiator shroud, radiator caps, steering wheels, keys, cars, etc, etc

Even at Autobacs, stuff is rediculous cheap compared to what we pay here.
i.e. my new zero sports radiator shroud for 50 something bucks

If it's possible, a couple of us are gonna catch a flight sometime this year also, ..... so I'm just posting up so maybe you can start thinking of things and setting some money aside.
... and I'll bump the thread when times are set and I know when I'll be leaving ...

nobody wants to make a list??

another example of what I could get, .... since someone was asking about them, ... the drop in replacement filters, Blitz, HKS, etc, ... will cost about 20-30$. Or those clear side markers, about $15-20.

probably around August September, ... I'm not sure yet b/c I have to set it up (work trip).

but when Mike gets back, ... I think we might try and fly over there also, ... maybe sooner, ... or around that same time if my work trip is going to be later.

I just think if anybody wants those 'little' knick knacks that cost so much over here just b/c of the name, ... we could pick it up while over there.

I know that the flight heading to korea goes through Japan, but I'm not sure where in Japan. It also goes through Guam... There's 18 hours of crew rest at each stop, so if you have a stop prior to landing, you'll be sitting around for awhile before you take off again.

A little trick I learned about flying foreign:

If you plan on flying to a foreign destination often, look into prices round trip based in that area. e.g. Go to Korea one way. When in Korea buy a round trip open-ended ticket to and from the U.S. while there. Save $$$. I don't know if this will work for Japan (it's always seemed more expensive to live there) but for most podunk countries the price is WAYYY cheaper. I can get round trips from Korea to Hawaii for $3-400 regularly.

Yes, there are almost weekly flights from here to there, leaving from Hickam. The schedule is never set, and times aren't released until close to departure date.

man, ... ball n chain in action already!!!

Just think of accesories and small stuff.
Electronics, name brand stuff that usually costs a butt ton over here, etc. That's obviously the easy stuff for me to pick up, ... Or just basically anything made in Japan that can fit in a BIG bag.
