Carbon pillar covers

Well woke up early to wash the car and decided to install the 3m carbon decals on both front and back pillars. Undecided on the look but figured I could remove it later.

This...

btw grats to a new fellow FXT owner.

Now, that said a few things.

1)I run the KYB GR2/swift spring combo. Do yourself a favor and buy new tophats (I went with the group N's) so you dont have to rip it all apart again down the road.
2)There are guys that make a support bolt in for the endlink tab problem. Make sure you read up. It is a HUGE issue with our FXT's
3)Oil filters, its a personal thing but I would suggest only running the Mobil 1 or purolator pure one series (K&N are made by mobil 1 so thats good too) I don't care for the stock "oem" subaru ones
4)CHeck to see if the banion filters have been done. If not, read up on how to do it. There is a factory TSA on how to remove them, do it! you do not want to deal with a broken filter problem.
5)Remove the silencer on your air intake box, trust me you will thank me.

Let the modding begin Craig!

Check out Blaise's XT...just threw on a few extra goodies...

We woke up early yesterday and knocked out the strut install...fun morning...we got it done in about 1.5hrs...ran into a few hitches as usual...

It's a lot of fun installing with my son...

Thanks Brent! Will check it out. My boys are a little too young but one day. Could use the help when I pull heavy things like trans and exhaust on my other cars lol!

You going to get your car tuned this time around?

If you can find an up-pipe, downpipe/catback, intake...it's worth getting a tune already...I would also add a 3-port Grimmspeed electronic boost controller (install it onsite at the tune only...do not run it un-tuned)...also an Accessport V2 or V3...you don't need one though if you want Jarrad to build you an Open Source tune...

If you haven't replaced out your uppipe yet...do so immediately with an un-catted one. I believe my td04 turbo died due to the uppipe catalytic substrate breaking down and entering into the turbo...bad stuff.

Low and behold that I have a Helix flex uppipe that is ceramic coated for sale.

Headlights

So I had some left over sand paper from another project and decided to tackle the cloudy headlights!
