New Tint
The tint on my car is fairly light and with the days getting hotter and all I was looking into getting the tint replaced with a darker tint. Does anyone know how to take the old tint off? I figure I'd save money and take it off myself but if its too difficult I probably wont.
Second question, does anyone know of a good tinting place to go to?

A darker tint doesnt necessarily mean you'll have a cooler car.
If you're concerned about heat then the quality is what matters. You need to spend the extra money (usually about 2-3x the price) and purchase one of the newer ceramic based tints. They have superior heat rejection. I doubt I'll ever go back to conventional tint.
I'd recommend Al's tinting in Aiea but there are a number of other shops that do good work and provide ceramic tint. Al has a cool display that shows how the different tints compare.

According to my friends who are tinters, both are extremely good at blocking heat. But I am told that the V-Cool is better.
