I killed my turbo on AMSOil. I was running 5W30 and somehow I coked the turbo. Granted, this was before I bought a turbo timer, but I was pretty meticulous about making sure I ran the car for a few minutes after hard driving.
Their gear lube (75W90) was WAY too slick to make the synchros catch, so grinding became a pretty serious issue after awhile.
No longer an AMSOil fan.

Always been a Mobil1 (street car) and Redline (race car) fan myself... Castrol for the beaters...

Well Im not a seller... but I hope this answers your question on why I preffer amsoil...proven by many racing teams etc... Dont get me wrong red line is an awesome product but I preffer Amsoil... thanks..
