New Here...

Well I'm new to these forums and I just wanted to introduce myself. I just purchased a Black 02 WRX wagon. The car won't be getting here for another 3-4 weeks since it's still in cali. I wanted to get a daily driver with alot of room that would still be fun to drive.

I know things like suspension, aero and some exhausts are different from the sedans. Anything else I should be aware of? What crosses over easily that I can get for my wagon? I'm probably going to start off getting some coilovers and maybe wheels. What is the lowest offset I can get away with on 17 or 18's? I don't mind rolling and stretching tires a little to get it to fit.

Here is a pic of the car at the dealership. Only paid 11k shipped from cali.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Troy, you've come to the right place, and I'm your man for wheels/tires. I've got a set of wheels/tires that are perfect for what you're looking to accomplish. Here's the link: https://www.i-club.com/forums/hawaii-classifieds-97/feeler-fs-bnib-17x9-rota-dpts-dunlop-tires-196354/. To fit these, you will need to roll your rear fenders and run at least around 2 degrees of negative camber to fit them, but they will look sweet. PM me if you're interested.

Wow the cruise I put together is considered a major cruise after one gathering. Damn I am BIG TIME! I guess we will have to see who coordinate 2009 one since I am in Iraq currently.

OP welcome and see you around when I get back.

Thanks guys. I'm not new to hawaii just new to subies. I've been involved in the VIP scene here in hawaii for awhile and won hottest mercedes at the last hin show. I figure this will be a change of pace hopefully without all the drama. Hopefully when the car gets here from cali I'll be able to come out to a meet.

On a separate note anyone know what the bulb number is for the headlights and fog lights? I would at least like to get some HIDs on order before the car gets here.

Here is a pic of my car at the last show.

Thanks man! I'm not sure white would good on my car though...don't want it looking like an Oreo. So I guess 17x9 +35 is pretty standard for a WRX? Good luck with the sale!
