Red face New to hawaii: trustworthy shops?

Hi!

I'm coming from the Bay and my car is being shipped as I'm typing. I'm just wondering if anybody can tell me if the subaru dealership is trustworthy with regular maintenance or are there other shops that actually know about wrx's and can work on my car, if anything should happen.

Even though I drive a wrx, I'm a girl and I don't really know much about my car and don't want to be ripped off. I know people in the bay that totally helped me out, but don't have connections in Hawaii.

Please help!?

*In before the leg humping*....

The local suby dealership is Servco. I believe that they do a good job as for maintenance.

Uh Oh, you shouldnt have mentioned your a girl.. Now all the lurkers on HIIC will come out of the woodworks to see you at a weekly MEATING/meeting... BTW, if your coming from the BomBAY, hit up RYAN/CHOKUDORI for some helpful hints on getting around the island.

BTW WELCOME TO HIIC. MILITARY??

Welcome. Personally I only trust a handful of people in Oahu with my car. 1st make friends here and you will be surprised on how helpful people are here.

As for the Subaru dealership and service center, IMO top notch.

Welcome to the HIIC. And yups, females always tend to bump up the attendance at the meets. I remember the time when Tiff and Kyra first came out to their first meet........choke guys came out of the wood works. Haha post pics for all the horn dogs and really get this thread jumpin!

Welcome to the Rock! As I've said before, there are a bunch of great people here on HIIC. A lot of them are willing to help you with any concerns that you have with your car.

Well actually I did change the starter, bought a new battery, and it worked fine for a week. Then started doing it again and my moms mechanic said it was probably that switch. Changed it and the cars been running fine for the past month almost. Yay =)
