but seriously all DP's and CBE will have small differences and vary in HP plus or minus 1 or 2 hp. as far as DP's first question to ask is do you want bellmouth or divorce waste gate type. do some searches lots of info here and on the web.

Also check out the classifieds here. I have a Perrin down pipe for sale that has a divorce waste gate.

I don't understand the difference between a bellmouth and divorce waste gate type, could you clarify? I do want to go the most hp route. No brainer!

Thanks for the resource. It seems like the divorce wastegate route can bring potential problems!? I have to look into it further but the bellmouth seems more conservative.

down pipe designs are always going to be arguable. personally I have experienced 3 different DP's. I have used the PDE, TurboXS 4in bellmouth, and currently the Perrin divorce waste gate (which is for sale). All of which I have not had any problems with.

Which one would you recommend the best in sound & exhaust also attached to a CBE? I honestly am not sure what setup I am interested in but I want to know what people are running so I can listen to the sound clips and see if that's something that I would want.

i understand you're not in hawaii just yet, but couldn't you go to a meet/meat close to your location and hear them in person? IMO sound clips on youtube are close, but not as good as the real thing.

i have an 08 so i don't think my recommendations would apply to you, but i have heard of issues with invidia DP's having the dividing plate interfering with proper operation of the factory wastegate.

I'm about to pick up an invidia dp split bellmouth! Any recommendations for an exhaust with this dp?

Borla Hush or Cobb catback. I think they are the best sounding and stock looking exhaust out there. Invidia G200 also makes a good sound, this of course is all based on youtube videos. Wait till you go to a meet. That's the best bet to buy something you'll be happy with.

i am running a complete catless system and its not as loud as some of the othe cars that still have atleast the resonator. i don't see any emissions at idle either.

Probably just a Safety Inspection venue dealie. Remember, I'm lazy and I used to just get it done at Ala Moana Sears.

With the catless dp I would need an exhaust that is catless too right? Unless I wanted to modify it a little.

Since it's been a bagillion years since i had a CC on my car (so someone correct me if i'm wrong), i believe your car has 3 CC's on it. What do you mean modify it a little? What you need to do is figure out what you NEED first, and that you can determine by looking at a diagram.
