Need help with Guage wiring

More like I need help finding a certain wire.. I have already hooked my clock pod up to the clock wires, that was no problem. However, my guages are electric and apparently the clock is a switched source, so whenever I turn my key off my guages don't remember what settings they were at...

ANYWAY

Should I just make up a 12v source from the fusebox or is there a non-switched power source somewhere behind the dash? I'm thinking heater controls... something. Or am I just not hooking it up to the clock correctly? Shouldn't the clock have an always on source since it too needs to stay set?

the steering column constant 12v is white according to my wire chart. as a precaution please use a multimeter and confirm first before connecting. the wire should be a 10 or 12 guage.

Hey thanks, however, according to some guys on Nasioc there should be a 12v constant supply in the clock wires which would make sense since the clock probably needed a constant to stay set. Also, I already planned to use the steering column constant that was hooked up to my stock boost guage for my a-pillar guages, but if I can't find the clock constant wire I will just have to use the other wire for both.

i would not use it personally....IMO the wire would be to thin (18-22 guage) and the clock is probably only fused at about 5 to 15 amp fuse. i would tapped the steering column one and run an in line fuse like a 10-15 amp. that way you have a dedicated line for your guages.

Look on the opposite side of the clock pod where the harness plugs in. If you plan on using those wires, there is a guide to what wires are what.

Yeah, everyone is telling me to do that lol. Except I don't have my clock anymore! So that doesn't help me much. Pretty sure I have it all figured out though but I will let you guys know once I get home and tinker with it a little.
