you will need an accessport or tactrix cable to change maps.
Personally, I would get a tune from Eric at Torque Performance. I currently run his custom e-tune, and car feels so much better when compared to stock or OTS map from cobb.

Your tune shouldn't have dropped. Unless it was a real time map, does Cobb still do those? If u reset you ecu if it was open source tuned or Cobb ap or any EM it should have defaulted back to the tuned map that was loaded/written to the ecu. For you to have a stock tune you would have had to write the ecu somehow with a stock tune. If your car feels different (stock feeling or less power). It's cause your car is relearning your driving habits.

It's driving different for sure. I was pushing 20lbs of boost after all this mess I'm now at 12lbs. Runs fine just I can tell a huge difference in my car. I just now ordered the tactrix cable but if anyone has anything to help out good god I need it.lol
