I love challenges so I joined, The Marine Corps. In the Marines Rank is Earned and not given. Challenge yourself.

Infantry isn't everything. Marines or Soldier your purpose is to be a Rifleman!
Pick a MOS you are going to Enjoy.
Good Luck.
Rank in the Army is earned, not given. You rank up faster because we have about a 800,000 more personnel than in the Marine Corp and therefore, more opportunities to be promoted.

Some people love the life of a Marine and some don't, same in the Army. The FACT is, I get more Marines coming into my office on a daily basis, wanting to switch over to us, than does a Marine recruiter EVER see a guy from the Army that wants to switch to the Marines.

^^^Those are the guys we donʻt want. The guys that say I want something easier but I still want to stay in the Military. Believe me itʻs gone through My head a couple times.
But I am going to stick it out.

Everyone has said that about everyone else who wants to switch from once branch to another.

I'd say stick it out in the Marines, no point in throwing away all the time and energy you've already invested in the Corps.
