let me just say..what ever branch you decide to go for..make sure you can use that job outside of the military...I am in the army, but chose to go medical field, I am a pharmacy technician in and if i wanted to outside of the army. but that was my choice...whatever you decide good luck!

Honestly almost any job inside the military you can use outside the Military. Actually I take that back. You can't find a MAGTAF Planner job in the real world.
You did make a great choice but remember you are only in the reserves so I hope your have a full-time Job.

If you deploy and see real war fighters leave the wire and you are not one of them you will forever regret it. I have respect for all those that put on the uniform but the bond forged by combat is one duplicated no where else. It's something words cannot describe and it will change you forever.

Either way, whatever you do, be the best at it. If you do the Corps do infantry and go Force Recon.
Army, try for an 11B Ranger Contract or if you're up for it, go 18X.

anyhow I like listening to you grunts hype up the infantry. personally I am a Signaleer and as the old saying goes
"you can talk about us but you can't talk without us"
to the OP your primary MOS will always be infantry regardless of what job you do in the Army. pick a career field you would be interested in that will benefit you in and out of the army.

I recommend the Army. It's easier/faster to move up in rank. They offer a great variety of fields to study and practice. I've actually been considering it, now that getting into a Nursing program has become quite a hassle. Do your research and base your decision on it. In the end, it's entirely up to you.
