Nameless axle back
Hi, just wanted to get peoples opinions on the nameless 3in staggered tips vs the 3.5in staggered tips both double walled. Is there a noticeable difference between them? Also opinions on the single wall vs the double wall?
thanks all

imo double wall just looks stronger and better quality. single looks more generic n cheaply made. i also not a fan of fat pipes, if the invidia had options for a 3" exit, I would go with that vs anything larger. as far as sound is concerened, they both will be loud so no difference in sound imo, lol

Double wall always looks cleaner...I'm looking to possibly pick up the un-muffled tips for my Legacy to swap on when I want a little more sound...I've heard a set on a 2010 WRX and it sounded nice.

Yup, we just met up and I think Taylor likes the sound -
as for durability, I was never worried about the single wall, in fact, double tends to dent and not be correctable, but it's really just a matter of personal preference. I felt like the single walls have a more aggressive appearance
I've heard the double wall in person as well, maybe it was me, but it seemed a bit quieter, but they were also only 3" vs 3.5 flared

We need another person to chime in on the issue, I can't tell if theres confirmation bias going on or truth.
Nonetheless, we all are entitled to opinion, and the next man to his.

we should have a 'sound off' someday haha, I still wish I could get my '11 to sound more like what I've heard coming from blob/hawkeyes passing me on the road, I just haven't really heard an exhaust on a GR that has that really deep tone where you can make out almost each individual cylinder firing...
is it because of the header design? or 3+" turbo back all the way w/o cat/resonators? I've always been curious to know

For the hatches most of the aftermarket exhausts have a gigantic muffler (non-canister type) which probably tones the sound down a bit. And the sedans have 2 mufflers. I guess you gotta go single exit for the '11s+ to get it to sound like a GD.
