Chris, my main concern, as i have seen these on other cars is the fact that they heat up, that is the bulbs put out a LOT of heat. I wanted to do this on Sue's other leggy, but held off since my friend installed a few and said they melted the headlight, housing, and fused wires together. But if times have changed since 2006, which I'm hoping they have, these would look hella sexy on any leggy, (but esp. 08's- hey I'm kinda biased... ) even other subies.
These do work on '08's. I've been reviewing some of the many threads on these particular DDE's & I don't see anyone reporting problems of the housing or headlights melting.

There are some guys having problems with shorting... which concerns me. I've never cleared headlights before so I don't have any experience in resealing once the install has been completed.

These can be wired to turn on with your fogs or parking lights.

The only issue I see is that if people like it, they will start doing it and then it will not be as original or as nice. But for now, do it up.

I, personally, think that halos really only belong on BMWs.
These were the original cars to come out with halos from the manufacturer and only seem to look "right" on BMWs to me.
But like my vote... it's your car... do what you want.

Yeah, I hear ya. That's one of the things that's holding me back from doing it. That & I'm not sure if I can reseal it properly. Thanks for chiming in!

It doesn't sound like it will be a significant discount. They did give me a code to enter when ordering so that you'll get charged $10 for shipping... I didn't ask what the shipping method was (and more importantly, if it included insurance since these are rather fragile).

I'll try & get more info...
