just kidding about the short shifter -

[cliffnotes]Justin and Jay spent the time taking apart the stock DP off and everyone waited for the new DP to come - only to find out it was never coming. so pretty much the car nothing happened until Ty(beanie baby) came and installed the shifter. from 8am-4ish, only the shifter was going in[/cliffnotes]

It's all good now. He knows he did wrong and hopefully learn from it. I got the DP and all is well. However, have the CEL issue which was known. How do I get this fixed? I'm sure it is a simple fix but newbie like me is lost. Also, about getting the ECU reflashed...how is this accomplished...edumucate me pleeze!!!

BTW...I got my UPS package in. I got TWO sets of brake lines in this box. I assume Vivid may have added another rear pair in the original package. Therefore...set of rear STi Agency Power steel braided lines are For Sale...$55 (the price I paid). LMK.

Finally, would like to thank everyone whom participated in this incredibly long interesting install day. I need to get the brake stuff put on but not sure when...I assume Saturday is the best day. My wife wanted to do the LAST island tour so she asked if it can be done another day...which I doubt due to people working. I will talk with her again and possible do the island tour next week during the week sometime.

So...how about Saturday again at my place to finish up the loose ends. This time we will be able to work on OTHER cars besides mine. Post away to see the interest in doing this ONE more time on Super Bowl Eve. L8R for now.

Jason

^^^The Cruise to plan the Summer Cruise is on this day.

Anyways...I'm happy that you got everything installed and all that good stuff.

You might as well wait until you get to the mainland and get it reflashed up there. What port is your car being shipped to? I know you're going through texas on the roadtrip that you have planned, so maybe if you're shipping to LA you can have one of the shops there reflash and dyno tune you before you get to Louisiana? Either that or buy an accessport from Speedgear/Vakamon. They have some in stock stil right?

John the Bongo Playing Brownsicle has an AP I think.
