Moving Back to Hawaii >.<

Just wanted to ask a quick question specifically to the Hawaii board. Well, to start off I just sold my '05 WRX a while back, i'm currently living in Hollywood, Florida right now, sucks here. I am gonna be moving back to Hawaii in June for College (HPU) and right now the main thing on my mind about going back is getting a new car. I've had my mind set on going back to Hawaii since I came to Florida in march of 05, not trying to hate, but no asian chicks here haha.

Anyways, I wanted to ask you guys since I havent had a chance to talk with any dealerships in Hawaii about the price of an '06 STi. I want an STi... Period, and I know it probably cost choke in Hawaii cause of shipping and everything. Would be great to get an eyeball estimate at how much i'll be paying for an STi or WRX/TR, any recent owners that can list how much they paid would be great too. Thanks in advance, and hopefully i'll be able to get my STi when i'm in Hawaii.

P.S. Recently talked with a couple friends I keep in touch with in Hawaii, I heard they raised the standards for driving in Hawaii (Caught going 80 and u get license suspended and a pretty ticket or something like that). Just wondering how bad it is in Hawaii now, thanks again. Sorry ah, my pidgin pretty sh*tty haha.

re:

Nah, I don't plan to speed or anything. If I remember it's 65 on H-1 so it's not too bad. Not too much people speed excessively, cept for the ricer boys and their primered civics w/ bookshelf spoilers.

Just got off the phone with Five Star Subaru and Waialae Subaru and they just gave me a quick rundown about everything I know already. Are there any specific subaru dealers that are easy to haggle with? How have your guys experiences been with any specific delaerships? Trying to look either for an 06 STi $1000 under invoice or an 06 WRX TR $2000 under invoice. Help is much appreciated, thanks guys.

i went to pflueger airport a few days ago and they had an '06 sti and he told me out the door was going to be ~$35,000. I think every dealer won't budge down here it seems

you may want to consider driving it, then shipping one over to the port. That was what i had in mind, until the dealership gave me a price that no one could top here. then i gave in. So now a member of the 2 suby club. 04wrx, 05lgt, and lovin every minute of it.
