I went to see "I am Legend" Left after one hour cause these people behind me talked from the previews through the whole movie... every time the showed some street in NYC the dude had to mention is location... "oh thats the E street station" the wife was just as bad.... " oh he's such a good actor." And when the volume of the movie got loud for an action scene the raised their voices over it.. Now I am a patient and understanding person... a couple of comments here or there.. I can handle...but after one hour.. they were in the hundreds. SO finally I had, had enough, I turned around and said " dude would you mind lowering it a couple of notches" Polite, I must say! His response was F you, wait till after the movie... so on and so forth... I was so angry.......... I went to manager and got a full refund... Why do some people think that the world revolves around them... I mean such inconsideration for anyone other than yourself.... 24 hours later and I am still livid!

 

IDIOTS!!! That is why I haven't gone to a movie theatre in over a year.

 

It's funny because the last time something like that happened at a movie I went to, the guys who were told "F-ck you" were a bunch of big local boys. And unfortunately for the guys who said "F-ck you, the locals called them out right then and there. I don't think anybody was watching the movie at that point. Well at least it was hard to watch it when all you could hear was "Fakka, cah mon, we go!" Needless to say, the locals waited patiently throughout the rest of the movie (at least another hour) and then proceeded to beat the crap out of the other guys, while the credits were rolling. All this took place in the theater.

But yeah, I get totally irritated by other people's lack of common courtesy. I also hate when people keep hitting the back of your chair too!

 

ya there were some really annoying people when we went to see "I am legend" too. they kept talking through the whole thing and ruining all the good dramatic parts. I always try to go to the last late show on weekdays to cut the crowd. its pretty fun to go when there are maybe five other people in the theater. conversly i refuse to go on a busy weekend or opening night. i have to say tho its just a shame how people treat each other these days....

 

Just kick the b*tch Spartan-style.

 

movies are expensive....id be pissed if i had to hear someone else talking other than pple in the movie....i can understand the preview...but when the movie starts? WTF!

on a side note...i thought transformers sucked a lot of the fast acting motion was just a big blur...guess thats what you get on a big screen and a reel projector......watching it on HD-DVD...its just plainly AWESOME!!!!

 

I know whats up with "I am legend" samething happen to me. There was guy and his girl just talking up. I was ready to tell them shut the F**k up. But I think someone beat me to the punch.

 

^^^Maybe because the movie is the 3rd iteration and all these people are talking about the differences or something.

Anyways, I love to watch those people getting their *** beaten...serves them right.

Kinda old, but the last time I had an experience like that was when Mortal Kombat came out in the theaters. Had some guys yelling "back back high punch" when scorpion did his spear thingy. Classsic though.

 

yo BJ i hear you man...i hate theaters now because of stupid ppl like that. believe it or not i've had instances where ppl lit up cigarettes inside the theater. the worst experience i had was when a lady laid down and took up 3 seats (literally) when the theater was packed. she got mad at us when we asked her to sit in one seat...and she had the nerve to say "this is why i hate going to the theaters" to me

 

i wish i was with you!! i wouldnt have said anything i would have just punched him in the mouth!!!!!...that would have for sure shut him up!!!!lol

 

wow that's messed up i would've sat behind them and blabberred out loud through out the last half of the movie.

 

I work as a projectionist part time and some of the stuff i've seen is crazy.
people doing it in the theatre, fights, gay sex in bathroom stalls. doo doo on the walls. the movies that usually are the loudest are pg13 horror movies followed by R rated or maybe they are the same.

 

i was totaly joking i just figure i could rant since i saw it in the title of this posthahahahah
