TDM (taiwan domestic market) has ruled/brought down the import market for quite some time now... Maybe we'll see a resurgence in the sport compact market as hopefully more educated tuners get into modding cars.

True JDM will always be cool because there are so many untapped varieties of it, while knockoff wannabe JDM that you see so commonly has always been uncool because fools don't know what the hell they're doing

we all say jdm and then run rotas. i know i have. importing from japan is expensive. i believe in usdm as much as any other market for aftermarket. jdm holds more name now than quality. not to say it's bad, but it's good for twice as much as the rest.

I really can't remember what car it was, but think I saw an Accord with "NOT JDM" vanity plates at least a few times around..

Had some euro-style rims with a mild stretch.

hmmph..

JDM will always stay, aslong as the Japanese people are making parts for our cars it will never die out.
IMO there are 2 types of JDM builders
1.The first is the ones who just want to make there car look like how it would look stock in Japan with a added simple drop and exhaust. (simple/clean look)
2.The second are going for the Option Magazine/Drift Tengoku look. (aggressive look)
But thats the way I see it.

It's irritating to see these on some peeps cars, not knowing what they mean.

If you have it, you either drive like a n00b or like a granny......I guess it speaks for itself.

It cranks me up everytime I see the "Young Driver" stickers on cars. Some people DON'T know what it means and make themselves look like a fool.

It's like putting a "Student Driver" sticker on your car and driving it around all day.

I've heard a number of individuals refer to the "wakaba" mark as "Oh, the Japanese drift symbol" or "Oh, the Japanese racing symbol."
