but I'm recommending to the HIIC n00bs to post their technical questions in the appropriate forum. I am still guilty sometimes, but my weak excuse is that I usually ask myself first if it's something I want to ask the HIIC specifically, ie. if I want a quick answer or if I want to let everyone here know what I'm up to with my car. I still get carried away, though.

I know why you do it; I was the biggest offender, but I can tell you that I'm not as concerned about posting in the tech forums so much anymore because I'm seeing a lot more responses in there in the last couple of months, and I'm also seeing a lot of HIIC folks in there as well.

If it's flames you're worried about because you think you have the stupidest question ever, I think I can speak for many of us that we've got your back.
