Arrow Mah car is dead

Ok, ... well, ... not totally dead, But the damn thing over heated and blah, blah, blah, it doesn't like me anymore.
I haven't even opened anything up yet, but I have a decent idea on what's wrong, and then some.

SO, ... I'm exploring "all" my options and looking for a KA24DE that someone may have lying around.
If you guys know of anything, let me know please.

I think it was push2's friend that did the SR swap, ... does he still have that KA he wants to sell?

Thanks Jayson for letting me borrow "the bucket" while my car is OOC.

... anybody want to donate money to help the cause? I'll give you my PayPal email address!

If the engine is the way he describes it (E-bay.......) then BUY IT NOW! Engine plus tranny for an RB26DETT... isn't that the setup in the VeilSide Dragcar? Or is their's a bored out SR series?

he wants too much.
Plus, I can't use the tranny without a b*tch ton of work. I'd need to get an RB25 tranny and oil pan, etc.

I found an SR on island, .... trying to decide what to do now.

I am STILL looking for KA24's on island. I think I would rather just get a stock motor back in the car.

So if anybody knows .....

I don't know about just an engine, but my friend is selling his CHERRY 93.5 G20... It's got an SR20DE in it. Don't know if this helps, or not.

I'm sorry I sold you that bucket.
Maybe you can buy v rod's car and he can buy the STI from me.
You get your WRX back and I still make money some how.

It's an automatic (sorry) and he wants $4500 O.B.O. He's got a girl looking at it this weekend. It's got a lot of miles, but he BABIES his car and drives like a grandma. Something like 150k+ I think. I can double check today at work. Just got repainted Dark Brown. I call it the "Shiny Poo-mobile" but it looks really nice. He's seliing it 'cuz he's leaving the island in mid-July. He just put a new stereo (Alpine) in it, and we're re-running speaker-wire this weekend.

Thanks Greg...I have $2K in cash, but $4500 is a bit much for me right now.
