Red face looking for a place to stay

Hey guys/gals,

I moved here about a month ago and I am currently living with my sister and her husband, while I wait for my girl to get out here. She is arriving on the 19th. (not my car, my girl, not sure when my car will arrive but I miss it)

Anyway... I work downtown at the FIC building and I am currently driving here everyday from Ewa Beach. It is about an hour drive, but the area seems to be really nice. I would like to get a place closer to work or about half way between?

Anyone know of a housing complex or apartment building that I should look into? I am looking for something that has 2bed/1.5/2bath/2parking. I would like to stay under $2000 or so.

I really haven't had time to go and look at places, but I am going to have to make time. BUT... in the meantime I thought that I could get some ideas as to where are good place and where not to waste my time.

I appreciate all the help I can get on this... When my car gets out here I would like to get together with a few of you and grab some beers and BS about the cars.

Thanks
chris

no words of wisdom?

Still... I wouldn't mind just hanging with some of you and grabbing some beers. If anyone is up for that let me know!

Beers are

always spoken of at my house. Cars are spoken of too. I'm military, so I can't help you with your housing question. But I can speak of beers, many beers.

I think what

Silver Satin is saying, is that you can stay at his house! Whoo Hoo! There will be hot and cold running beer and he didn't need all those rooms anyway.

It's official,

Silver Satin just called me and said you can move in Friday (he's busy tomorrow). Congratulations! I've been to his house and it has a jacuzzi, swimming pool, tennis court, and, as I said before, hot and cold running beer! I just want to tip my hat to Silver Satin for being such a good human being.

Obviously

I was joking. Push comes to shove, you can call me, but you'll have to sleep on the couch (folds out to a bed).
