by chance does anyone know of anyone that can do body work and repaint my car? I am not looking for a professional business or anything just someone that does it for fun and looking to make some extra cash without breaking my wallet. maybe even a auto body student at LCC that needs a project for school.

Jess

That dent doesn't look too bad - The paint doesn't look chipped or scraped in the pic. You might be able to get to the backside by taking off the interior panel and pop it out dent doctor style...

I had a big smooth round dent very similar to that (about 1 foot long behind the rear wheelwell) and was able to reach the backside of it from inside the trunk. I popped most of it out with my palm and a 2x4 piece of wood. After "working" the metal with a rubber mallet, I waxed it down asked a visitor to take a look at the car... she couldn't find a dent on the car.

See a professional "Dent Doctor" (typically ~$125 bucks / panel). Working the metal wouldn't mess with the paint (still looks good). Good luck.

that technique or the ones with w/ dry ice will work, JUST be aware that the operating temperatures of the clearcoat on your car. It may strip it out.
