They used to make some great sounding decks but they started having quality issues and problems servicing the units. I know a couple shops here and on the mainland the stopped selling because they were having 25%+ failure rates ....and sometimes it took months to get them fixed.

I did like the one that I owned back in the day

I've heard they brought back one of the old decks, I think its the 9255...old school simple looks and all. Thats something I may be interested in...I'm probably gonna be looking for an audiophile quality deck in the near future. Have you heard it?

no i cant say that i have... i currently have the dz something, the touch screen deck that won numerous awards for its whatever... ill let ya know if i get some kind of malfunction....
