if your talking about alan's car, he told me and a few others that he ran a 13 flat. that's straight from him.

he was running a stock turbo, turboxs stage 1 unichip and a 50 shot of nos. plus he blew his motor on that run.

i think he's gone through 2 or 3 motors.

he pm'ed me a few months ago from LA and said he's putting in a vf22 but has yet to hit the 12's.

I'm sorry I dont care if he hit 10sec here in Hawaii.. He used nitrous and that is it's own categroy in itself. In my perfect world there is a 12 sec turbo'd car and a 12 sec turbo + nitrous car. Two different classes

Doesnt the track also keep track of the new runs? In Seattle and in Boise when I was there they had records of all new runs, it wasnt very good not much more than a wad of timeslips in the track guys pocket, but it still helped settle these little "discussions"... =)

 

I dont hate, just dont want unfair competition. it's like being stuck in a power-adder class when all your running is N/A.

When I used to frequent SIR, I never had that. Interesting though to know.

 

I think all stock injectors, turbo, fuel pump, engine management and N20 Vs. Sti injectors, upgraded turbo, big fuel pump and link is a fare fight.

Your going to be in the 12.somethings. I don't think N20 will get me there.

If someone else is faster regardless of what he used thats cool with me. Much props to dude. If you are refering to Alan's car then well, what they said! Anyway, no one has laid claim to it on any HI boards that any of us know of then you can see this could be an honest mistake. In my opinion I doubt it because we are talking about quite a few WRX owners here who have their eyes peeled and ears to the ground who just happen to make it out to the track virtually every opportunity and no one has seen anyone run 12's yet. Have dude come on the board and lay claim and he can rightfully have the title but until then if you don't mind let me enjoy my 12 sec run.

 

I saw a guy in a Red WRX run 10's with two guys in the car and four "wonder donuts" (spares). He was running 600 shot of NAWZ and four VF-22's-one for each cylinder.

Stupid question, but do they let you run with passengers at the track? Curious since they wouldnt in Boise even if they signed the same consent form and got a note from mama...
