Hard to say. From what I've read, it could go either way. I don't know the complete fact about the case. These international cases are most difficult b'caz of different systems and people involved.

this case has garnered much attention so far. This type of thing occurs often around the world, and as Americans we would like to think that the justice system will allow innocent victims to prevail, but it simply is not always the case overseas. I hope that if she is innocent she would be released, but aussies should not expect much sympathy from the us. They make it extremely difficult for us to become citizens of their country, and many hold ill-will towards many Americans, as well as Asians, even their own Asian citizens. But that was going a little off topic. sorry....

It seems like the weed got put in her baggage after she checked it and it got seized right before or right after she picked it up. Thats not really on you to be responsible for it then.

do the crime, do the time... getting caught with drugs nowadays with intent to sell is more harsh then murder...
