Lol my bad, thought it was a different product...
I failed with this thing once and the nut looked like yours, but after pounding it into the nut(pretty hard), it was able to grab it.
Like everyone else says, if all else fails, use the grinder. Careful with the thread though.

Ok, Im done for the day!! The update status is that I got most of the nut off but the flat end part of the nut is still on...This is after dremmeling and chiseling bit by bit of the nut off!!!
