just a helpful hint for you guys that use rain-x. i use meguiar's quick detailer on my windows. i know your all thinkin' huh? but it works much better than rai-x. just spray it on and wipe it off. simple and effective. i can drive in the pooring rain and not even use my wipers. just thought i would share that since most of you have something similar to quick detailer. also i have some of the endurance dressing(purple gel) that i have been trying to give away but no one wants it. i had like 6 but i'm down to like 3 so if ya want one first come first serve. also for you military guys, the place by the nex is the best place to wash your car. the spot free rinse is no joke. go early in the morning or just b4 7 when they close. drive it home wet and get no waterspots. hope that helped someone. HEY...I've got like 3-4 bottles of the purple stuff!
I used to live in the mainland and used it a lot up there...only problem is that it isn't quite as water proof as they say. So, when i got back here and drove with it through rain, I got black streaks from the residue all over my car...a pain in the azz to clean out too!
I think the purple stuff is better for the dry areas like the southwest but not for Hawaii where we get surprise attacks of rain. Now, when I use this stuff I have to wait for Trini Kaupuiki (I'm gonna be her 2nd ex-husband! LOL) to tell us that it'll be dry for the week!
I think I'll try that ACS stuff...I think I saw it at Eurosport!

I Can't Believe People Still Use Car Wax!! Go With Zaino!!
I had a Porsche 911 and a Boxster S and all the Porsche guys were using high end wax. I was suckered into it as well. Unless you are trailering your car to car shows and want that extra 10 percent of gloss your absolutely crazy to "wax" your car. Wax is just that, it deteriorates quickly and does not protect your paint like a polymer. Living in the real world? Driving your car? Here are the advantages of Zaino: 1.Protects your paint for 6 months, apply twice yearly. 2. Since Zaino is a polymer it can be applied in direct sunlight on a 100 degree day, much easier to apply than any wax. 3. Actually provides some UV protection. After doing the research I only use Zaino on my cars and trust me its far superior to ANY wax on the market in terms of protection and ease of use.
