mr. clean works pretty good, but the filter and soap are used up fast. it does auto-dry, but there's these small puddles near the wing base that need chamois. meguiars hot wheel cleaner. eagle one tire shine. waterless washer for windows. meguiars liquid gold wax. makes the car look like its from the factory. only thing about waxing a new car might be swirling the clear coat.

Good old fashioned sponge and bucket-favorite car shampoo in bucket. Use soft bristled toothbrush to get dirt out of cracks and crevices. Rinse with clean water. Chamois dry. EagleOne Nano wax. EagleOne wax as u dry or wipe and shine in-between Nano waxes. Use microfiber cloths for removing wax and buffing.

I happened to grow some ***** and tried out the California Water Blade as a simple add-on to my drying the car off after washing ordeal that I used to totally suck in. Works great. I swore to myself that I would never scrape anything over the car but I haven't scratched my car yet from it. Reason it works great for me is that I live in an apartment and I don't have much time drying the car off before the water dries up and creates waterspots. The water blade cut my drying time from the usual 10 minutes in half.

Water blade will work great on silver/white/light colored cars. DON'T try it on black or dark blue though (don't ask me how I know).

I take 1 hour to wash mine, mostly because I'm using my car for whats it designed for, being driven. No point in spending extra time on some things.

i take one hour doing the full detail action.
being that i used to own a detailing business i've tried everything on the market.
for "over the counter" products zymol is the best product period. mequiars is a close second. if you want industrial quality use acs(ask 4 junior!) stuff.

i sometimes will use the flash wax from them(acs). i'm all into stuff that can't be bought over the counter. i love using rejex which is an awesome paint sealant. clay bars are wonderful. use it once and you will see the difference(and feel too) basically i will use a chamois and about 12 towels everytime i wash/wax. i'm a freak.
but i enjoy it. lately i'll wash my cars about 3 times a week!(rain or shine)
and for the tires i use acs tire shine with a paint brush.

I bring it to Joey (Midas Touch) every other week, which is about how often I cut my hair. I get the fade cleand up while waiting. It works out pretty well for my lazy ***.

if i care about the car, then i clay and zaino the first time and then just zaino after that maybe every week or 2.

if i don't car about the car then i think the dirt buildup protect the paint from the sun's harmful UV rays, so i leave it.
