lighten bumper beam?

lighten bumper beam?

hey guys

you know if schumen in town carry the JDM lightweight bumper beam? i know they carry the JDM tail-lights, lip, etc...i figure i might as well pay a little extra then trying to ship them over....thanks

the only guy i talk to is george down there he told me if imget him a part number he can order it including jdm parts..... its something like they can sell it but cant install it for off road use only never to be used on public highways like everthing else for our cars

Anyone that knows

me knows I'm a weight "weenie", but bumper beams is not where I'd look to save weight (especially with a FMIC). $$$ vs weight vs safety, I'd look elsewhere.

Hey, hugh, I got one from subaruparts.com for like 70 bucks shipped or something around there. It's ULTRA light though. I can pick it up with a pinky. Be warned that it WILL be useless even a fender bender. It's a good mod, especially if your already know how your car handles. You can kinda feel the difference. Or it could all be in my mind. =D

yeah i got fron and rear if i remember correct its was somewhere around 130 or so

yeah...i thought i've seen it for $70 somewhere....i have to get the front because i'm going front mount and my C-west kit is coming in this friday...i don't feel like hacking a bumper beam....i rarely drive my car anymore so i figure it won't be that bad...knock on wood...
