you can contest this in court but more than likely the judge will side with the officer because they are trained to pace cars for speed. If you can come up with scientific proof that they did not have enough distance to pace you correctly you might have a chance, but you'd probably like a lawyer to help you with that.

Just make sure you're not going 30 over. I was doing 68 at the end of the airport viaduct going to the middle street overpass and was late for work. It turns to 35 mph there.

The law says $500-$1000 fine, either 2 days in jail or 36 hour community service, either 15day no licese/15 day work only or 30 day license revocation and drivers ed. My public defender told me to to take the plea bargain from the prosecutor to avoid jail time. I got max of everything minus jail time.

So he didn't get you for no front plate? The other day at work I got tickets for no front plate and parking too close to a stop sign or some ****. Pissed me off watching the guy write it and I couldn't do jack lol.

Early morning and evening they're there. I only take red hill now unless i'm going to cut off at nimitz. They know people are going above speed limit on the airport viaduct and disregard the 35mph signs going to the tunnel.

Agreed here...I had a VIS CF Hood and didn't have the sticker on there. I actually didn't know it was supposed to have the sticker until seeing one on a picture here on this forum.

Still passed though at Recon...didn't even have hood pins. All they test for the hood is to make sure the 2-stage latch works.

you might have a fighting chance of fighting your recon ticket and your tint. have a tint shop remove your tint and get a receipt and take pictures. schedule a recon inspection as soon as possible and list everything that you have. don't forget to have an alignment first. be nice to the recon inspectors, they are pretty cool guys. once (or if) you pass recon, make a copy and bring all of these in court. but don't wait too long since it takes time to get your mods to recon specs. you may or may not pass the first time. make sure you wear a nice aloha shirt to court, smile, and be polite at all times. or you can write a nicely typed written letter to the judge and attach these and cross your fingers. you'll never know. i fought a illegal recon ticket via mail and won.

just my .02 cents...
