Like I said, not all STis are created equal, there are some variations from the factory... some run a little faster than others. Driver's skill has a little something to do with 1/4 mile as well, you need to learn how to launch and shift gears on your car properly - it takes some practice to get better at it!
It really dont make sense.. What kind of thing is that>>

I believe those times are possible. It is difficult for a person to extract the full potential of the STi. One night you think you got the lowest possible time, then you go and beat it another night. They're rated at doing 13.2@104mph from the factory. This means that somebody did it, which means that mid 13s are definately possible.

Anyone else out here have a GM6 with a WRX or EJ257 swap? Mine is enroute and hopefully I can run it at the track when I get back from deployment. The track is open all summer right cause I dont get back until August.

I think it's the driving, not the variations from the factory between cars. don't quote me on that though cuz i don't know Subaru's quality control.

Hey there Private, If i were you man i would be looking into getting some new rings. I'm not kidding. I say this because i speak from experience, i raced my car at 750 too 2 1/2 years ago and now my rings have had it. Poor compression and no power is were you will be in about 30,000 miles. and all i did is one night of racing, (many 14.7 passes bone stock ) I say its cheap insurence for the future. Do it now or pay later. Good luck
