Wow, a lot has been added since I last saw the plans. This really looks great.

Hi Shaggy!
The parcel of land we have can only fit a 1/8th mile...everyone is having to make due with less...for instance, HRP used to have a 1.3 mile road course, but the largest we'l be able to do most likely is around a .8. But, the kicker is that this will be much better designed, with more parking, easier access, and 35 feet of runoff room on all corners...which gives people plenty of space to screw up.
We're also working with DHHL to acquire and find a bigger parcel of land to use for the 1/4th. Even getting to Phase 2 is going to take some work...it's one step at a time.
Please remember that this is totally grassroots project...by the racers and for the racers. We don't have the same budget as a big corporation or developer.
Thanks for the support, come out tonight and you'll find out more about what we're trying to build.

Shaggy, thanks for coming out...and thanks to your whole crew for showing the support. It was simply tremendous. I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to thank all of you in person.
I really want to thank all of you that came out in support. The presentation really didn't go the way we planned, as we expected Tesha Malama to give a 10 minute presentation that would have given us time to have everything setup and ready to go. As it happened, her entire section was skipped, and we were just thrown in. Still I hope you were able to see what we are trying to do, and come away from with it with a better understanding of it all.
The meeting honestly went much better than we anticipated...it wasn't as brutal as I though it was going to be, and I believe that may have something to do with the fact that we had so many racers there in support. There was a very large, and comforting level of racers in attendance. I cannot thank you guys enough for being there for us.
We were given a small bombshell, but we seriously believe there's something going on there...we've honestly tried working with everyone to make this thing become a reality, and we will continue to do so.
I don't think we had enough time to answer questions, and get to the heart of some of the things we're trying to do with the new facility, so if you have ANY questions, please feel free to ask, and I'll come back with as best an answer as I can give.
Mahalo to all of you from the bottom of my heart...

I heard it went really well and a lot of people are getting really excited about all the work you've done. I also keep hearing about this "bombshell".... hope it gets worked out.

I'm glad I went, the presentation was very informative. That was awesome when people fully supporting KRP were asked to stand, and nearly everyone in the auditorium got up.
