koji style headlights

Anyone have experience and/or did the koji style headlights to their car? want to do this to my '07 STi but i would rather not wing it completely

always wanted to do this but im scared about effing it up and having to buy a new headlight. just send em to lightwerkz.

^^^ charles,dont mean to put down lightwerkz but when jimi and i did our retrofits and showed them to lightwerkz, they claimed they did it. they are expensive imho.

yea, theyre pretty expensive. jimi's headlights look sick. pretty squirrely that they claimed it was their work.

I know you said you wanna do it yourself but for the record, I sent off my (evo) headlights to Lightwerkz, yes they are expensive but the quality is INSANE.

if you dont mind sharing, how much is expensive? like, might as well buy new housing kine?

A retrofit is pretty straight forward... It makes sense that they might mistake a good job as their own, not like they do anything differently than you or I would, they just back it up with a warranty, and that's what you pay for.

my whole deal cost $1300. i went from stock ugly horrible halogen to blacked out TSX retrofit, so pretty much the most expensive route other than s2k + angel eyes n stuff... if you just wanna black yours out i say definitely do it yourself.

The only b!tchon part dependimg what projector .shroud your gonna use, is properly aiming the light beam uaing the 25foot rule of thumb My first projectors were with rx8 components which were pretty big and my second pair is woth s2k parts which i gotta just aim it .

i was going to paint just my housing. thats simple enough yeah?

wow, thats a lot more than i can afford. i like my lights now, might just paint the housing and call it a day
