Yeah, I bet. It got scary when the swell came back in...notice me swimming quickly back to the rock...the swell was coming in at that moment...

oh and BTW, there is a natural "jacuzzi" at the other side of that island.

doesn't the Mokes mean shark or something in hawaiian? My brother and i kite surf out there and weve seen our fair share of sharks off lanikai and kailua beach... Its freaky but you get used to it just don't eat it.

the word "moke" or "mokes" refers to the big scarry islanders (hawaiians, samoans) that roam this island...kinda like a slang term...

but the word "mokes" could also be a slang term or a short way to say "mokuleia"...which is the beach near camp eardman...
