Just took a bath, changed my shoes, snapped some pics...

I was bored and work today, and since I recently made some small changes to my STi, and I had just washed it, figured I'd post up some new pics. I originally had a set of gunmetal Rota SDR's on there, but switched them out in favor of a set of 18" HyperBlack FNO1RC's. They're 18x7.5 with a +35 offset. With that low of an offset, the wheels sit pretty flush with the fender wells, which is what i wanted. But, they do rub a bit on heavy turns and bigger bumprs. I also acquired a wingless trunk and had my '07 STi Limited rear lip spoiler painted and installed. It was a bit of shell shock to look out my rear view mirror and not see this huge thing there, but It's starting to grow on me. I love the smooth lines, plus since it's OEM subaru, the fit is perfect. I'm thinking I may try and swap out my STi hoodscoop for a 'Rex one to see if the lower profile 'Rex scoop matches better. I also have a set of color-matched 'Rex side skirts that I'm debating about installing as well. We'll see.

Did you pick up a STi Limited spoiler too?........sweet! Post up some pics when it's done. It's always good to see other cars to get a different perspective from your own.

Thanks man......I'm blushing! It's funny, because I just looked closely at the picture of the rear view (dead center), and I think I can see the lady bug on the right rear quarter panel that was flying around me when I was cleaning the car.

Yeah, I work in Waipahu at Oka's Auto Body. As for the Mines or the STi Limited......it's a toss up. To me, they both look good. In my opinion, the STi Limited spoiler flows a little better than the Mines. Both of them follow the body lines, but the STi Limited has that more "sleek" look, I guess. But, maybe I'm a little more partial to the STi one. I bought this one to try and be a little different. I've seen way more cars with the Mines as compared to the STi Limited. To each his own, but I'm happy with my decision. Hope seeing one in person helps make your decision making process easier.

Yeah...I've had it since they came out, but hadn't had a chance to have it installed. Now that the car is in the shop getting painted, it's being mounted as well as some other goodies being put on. I'll take pics when it's done. should be another week or two.

Cool! What color is your Suby? Care to share what "other goodies" are going on?
